On the 29th of September 1921, as a result of reading an advertisement on the front page of ‘The Cheshire Observer’ the previous week, placed by Mr Ted Davies of Davies Bros. Motorcycles, a group of enthusiasts got together at The Kings Head Hotel, Grosvenor Road, Chester to consider the formation of a Motor Cycle Club.
